Owlie tells your child when to sleep and when it is time to get up, with its eyes and its lights.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Eyes closed, 8 PM to 7 AM | Night-time |
| Red light | Stay in bed. Bedtime and nap melodies play for 45 minutes |
| Orange light | 30 minutes until wake-up |
| Green light | Time to get up. It stays green for 20 minutes |
When the eyes open depends on your Owlie's batch number — it is on the base.
| Batch number | With an alarm set |
|---|---|
| STO14C2000801 or STO14C260101 | Owlie opens its eyes at 7 AM even if the alarm is later — a fixed daily reference. The green light still waits for the alarm |
| Any other | The eyes close as soon as you set an alarm or switch to WEEK or WEEKEND, and open at the alarm time |

Controls
- Mode switch on the back: CLOCK, WEEK or WEEKEND.
- Bedtime or nap: press the knob on the back.
- Tap the head — firmly, it is a tap sensor, not a touch screen — to stop the melody, or at night to turn on the red light for 15 minutes. The screen dims after a minute; a tap brightens it.
- Settings: hold the green knob on the back for 5 seconds.
Charging
A full charge lasts about 1.5 to 2 days, depending on how many alarms are set and how often nap mode and the nightlight are used. Owlie can be used while it charges, and we recommend leaving it plugged in for everyday use. If the battery runs out, your settings may be lost. Use the USB-C cable in the box with a standard USB power source (5 V).
Nap music stops after a few minutes?
It should play for 45 minutes. If it stops much sooner, tell us. → My product stopped working. How do I make a claim?
Your user guide
Owlie's guide depends on its batch number: open the Owlie user guide and enter it. If it is not recognised, send us a photo of it and we will email you the right guide. → Where to find the batch number
