The CloudBox does not work while it is plugged in. Charge it until the light turns green, unplug it, then switch it on. That alone explains most reports.
It will not charge
- Use a USB-C cable with a standard USB power source (5 V). No cable comes in the box.
- The charging light is red while charging and green when full.
- Try another power socket.
It will not switch on, or it stopped after the battery ran low
After the battery runs flat, the CloudBox has to be restarted: slide the switch underneath to OFF, then back to your language. Then press the power button on the front.
No sound
- Turn the top dial on the right side up. At its lowest setting the sound is off.
- Unplug any headphones from the jack on the left side.
- If the sound is faint, charge it fully.
No light
Turn the lower dial on the right side up. At its lowest setting the projection is off.
A different story plays from the one I chose
Press the centre of a knob to play. The button at the bottom right skips to the next story, and the button in the centre bottom starts the current story again.
It switches itself off
That is the timer. After a story, the light stays on for 15 minutes. A melody or nature sound plays for 20 minutes.
The stories are in the wrong language
Each CloudBox is made with two languages, chosen with the switch underneath. They cannot be changed afterwards.
