Owlie tells your child when to sleep and when it is time to get up, with its eyes and its lights.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Eyes closed, 8 PM to 7 AM | Night-time. At 7 AM Owlie opens its eyes even if the alarm is later — a fixed daily reference |
| Red light | Stay in bed. Bedtime and nap melodies play for 45 minutes |
| Orange light | 30 minutes until wake-up |
| Green light | Time to get up. It stays green for 20 minutes |
On some Owlies the eyes also close as soon as you set an alarm, and open at the alarm time. Your user guide says which applies to yours.
Controls
- Mode switch on the back: CLOCK, WEEK or WEEKEND.
- Bedtime or nap: press the knob on the back.
- Tap the head — firmly, it is a tap sensor, not a touch screen — to stop the melody, or at night to turn on the red light for 15 minutes. The screen dims after a minute; a tap brightens it.
- Settings: hold the green knob on the back for 5 seconds.
Charging
Owlie can be used while it charges, and we recommend leaving it plugged in for everyday use. If the battery runs out, your settings may be lost. Use the USB-C cable in the box with a standard USB power source (5 V).
Nap music stops after a few minutes?
It should play for 45 minutes. If it stops much sooner, tell us. → My Product Stopped Working. How Do I Make a Claim?
